My food microbiology lecturer is one of those cute old gentlemanly-like professors. I like him!

Depends on how it is prepared. If it's the normal way that taste bland, then yes. If it's the natural version, it's a little different. Probably about 10^4 bacteria p/g.

If it is Kosher...Then you're blessed with very little bacterium. ^_-.

What's wrong with eating bacteria? XD You've obviously done so for the past 2 decades or so.
